Graduation!! So excited!!!

Graduation is going to be short but long ceremony honoring the first graduating class of Newark Charter. In other words it is going to be an hour long speech about how we "left our impact on the school" which is complete bs when you think about it.
I feel as if graduation is just going to be administration and students talking about what we changed about the school, when in reality we didn't really change that much. Administration never really listening to student council or class council and were not as open to ideas as they would like to admit. Most all of the teacher say that administration fights for us but how? We don't have traditions, like name one tradition? Because I cannot think of any traditions. Graduation is just the one place that administration and students get to lie to parents, friends, and families' faces and not think twice. I bet at graduation it is going to make the high school seem so nice and functional, when in reality it is not!
Although, the actual ceremony is not supposed to be that long, considering that we have through everyone's names and all, but how many people do you think are going to be annoyed or just straight up zone out when everyone is making their speeches and saying false things about the school? My guess... a lot. Most people at this school don't want to hear about the things the school think we did, they would rather get their diploma and go out to eat or take a nap.
I mean... don't get me wrong, I don't think graduation will be a total bust. I mean I'll get to hear all about the Ivy League schools that people got into and how impressed the school is with their accomplishments. I really, truly haven't heard enough about people getting into Harvard and Yale and those students really don't brag about it that much, so I'm happy that I get to hear it once more at graduation!! And god forbid they mention schools that aren't UD or Ivy League, well maybe they will mention people or the schools that gave people full rides, because we want to showcase (excuse me "shove in people's faces") what schools people are going to or where they are going for free because nothing matters to charter most than "showcasing the students" (excuse me the favorites).
But at least we have the senior awards ceremony the day before to balance out the favoritism presented at Graduation! I mean I get to see, once again, the students (favorites) of Newark Charter be presented awards that they probably already have and know they are getting! Let's be honest, we all already know what students are getting what awards, and they already know as well. They already act like they won and are talking about their "acceptance speech" and showcasing (excuse me shoving) their "talents" (excuse me "sucking up ability). But don't worry because we've been assured by administration that their is no favoritism at this school and no bullying, so I guess we can all sleep well tonight, knowing that the school is unbiassed and bullying free.
Back to graduation, as soon as I get my diploma and say goodbye to people who I never really liked in the first place, I get to go out to eat and finally relax. But first I'll get to take some pictures will people who say they are coming to visit me in Florida or say we have to keep in touch, but in reality it will just be fake people saying fake things but at least I'm finally out! At least I finally get to leave this school (excuse me "warehouse") and finally be free!!!

This is how I will be at the end of Graduation ...

Reasons to why I hate Schoology...

1. I have never gotten so many assignments in my life in one year. All year teachers are like, "Look for the homework at Schoology!" and actually give you about 2 assignments as homework. So now school is 2x more stressful!
2. In years past, teachers actually gave us paper assignments that were a lot easier to keep track of when they were all one place in a folder or binder. Now I have assignments on paper and on schoology and it's so disorganized. And sometimes the teacher doesn't even know if it is on paper or on schoology, so now you just have a whole class confused.
3. We, the students, were told that Schoology was to help teachers see when other teachers were having their tests or papers due and make their schedule around each other to ensure that the students would not be overwhelmed. Well... that is not the case. I cannot express the amount of times I have had 3 tests in one day or a project and test on one day. As a high school student, entering college next year, I understand that in college it will just as stressful if not more stressful than high school. However I would LOVE to actually enjoy my senior year and not be stressed by papers, and projects, and tests. Schoology was supposed to fix that predicament, but it didn't

Confused and Broke!

College is right around the corner and I am not prepared! I am ready to get out of Newark Charter but I can't make up my mind on what I want to do with the rest of my life. I know that I'm going to University of Tampa (Go Spartans!) but as for a major, I can't quite decide.
I always knew that I was more of math and science person. I never did great in my english classes, mainly because I was not very good at finding hidden meanings in books from England that was written over two centuries ago. And history I just never found interesting. So that left me with math and science, where the world is black and white. But what part of science do I enjoy the most, biology. But I don't know if that is what I want to major in in college. I also Forensic science really, really interesting and I know that I wouldn't bored in that major or career but I don't know if I could do dead bodies all day everyday.
I guess... this really comes down to my indecisiveness and horrible gut instincts. I already know I'm going to go to college broke and leave college more broke than how I begun but at least I will confused about what I want to do with my life so I'm really going into college being confused and broke. Ahh.... what a way to start one of the biggest chapters of my life!

ID Cards

At the beginning of the year we got ID cards and everyone hated their picture. I mean EVERYONE hated their school picture becaise they never turn out well. One person is always in the middle of the sneeze, another has a awkward smile, for me my hair never looked good. Like NEVER. I could do my hair nice and pretty and by the time I would take my picture it looked like I just went through a tornado. But what if there was a way to make our ID cards look better? Well ... I found that way. Snapchat filters. All girls use to make themselves cute, improve their selfies, or to impress othe people. So if teenage girls like it and use it everyday, this must be a great solution. Here are some pictures to show you just how well snapchat filters improve ID cards ...

TA Block

I am writing this post about Ms. Marshall because I was in her class and asked her what I should write about and she said her.

4. Beyonce (her cat) is super adorable and she has her own Instagram account
5. She gives really good advice

Marshland is great !
